Conversation with Desert 2
"It's so unusual to see you crying," says Young Forest beholding the streams of water gushing in between the large pores of Desert's face, and being hit by the acidic smell as the liquid has touched the very dry surface.
"Most people think I never cry, but I do..."
"Crying is good...it feeds your soul..."
"Yes, my little puddles nourish the birds, the rabbits, the lizards..."
"So, why do you cry...?"
"I explode sometimes... with thunders...out of fear that my inside matter is gonna get so hardened that I'll lose all life..."
"And then you break all your restrains and flood..."
"So my flowers can bloom... and in hidden places I gather all my tears and make springs and pools..."
"I know...sometimes I find them, and bathe in your tears... I'm always looking for oases, you know..."
"It's where I raise my sweet date trees..."
"Love dates... an aphrodisiac they say... please cry some more..."
